Shoveling Snow

I've lived in Colorado all my life, and today was probably the...second...time in my life I've shoveled snow? I usually leave it up to my Dad. But today, my mother convinced me to go out and shovel the driveway. I spent, oh, 20 minutes dinking around just making it harder for myself. Like, I didn't clean my car off before I shoveled which was sitting in the driveway before i started, and without realizing it I was throwing snow into our walkway up to our house. That was dumb, it took me a while to figure that out. Major blond moment. After I finally figured out what I was doing, I decided to get serious. So I came up with a system, as inefficient as it was, but I finally got it done. Our driveway faces south, so the sun melts the snow in th morning, and I would say the sun was melting the snow faster then I could get to shoveling it all out of the way. But regardless, it got done. If only someone would visit us today, so they could walk on a clean driveway. Then I would feel like my work went somewhere.

I've always heard that if you buy a house there you should buy one facing south so that the sun will help melt the snow! I guess that is true!
No pictures of you shoveling snow??

I always likes shoveling snow. My neighbors would be out shoveling, too, and we'd talk and not get much done, but have fun talking. I was also glad our house faced south, too. It made it a lot easier to deal with ice. Horray for snow!
