Graduation went awesome! For those of you who do not know, I gave one of the commencement addresses. Was mine the best? Well, you can ask my mom about that. The Salutatorian and valedictorian speeches were not that great. But another kid wrote an essay for English, and he was asked to read it. I was flabbergasted, it was very scholarly. I must say that I was not really very happy with what I did with my hair. I don't know what I was thinking. But whatever, nothing I can do about it now. There are also pictures of me at my orchestra concert, where I was the featured soloist. I was given the National School Orchestra Award, and my name was engraved on this plaque. In addition, I received this paper weight with my name on it. I got another plaque for being in All-State Orchestra...and I also lettered. It was a HUGE accomplishment for me to play that solo, as well as being a HUGE confidence booster in my musical capabilities. My private teacher and my teacher that started me on the viola on 6th grade attended the concert, it was very special to have them there. Props to Grandma and Grandpa for coming as well!!! oh, and the first picture is me with my stand partner Lauren. Orchestra will never be as good without her as my stand partner.
