PROM

I know I know, after seeing the heading of this post, you're all probably thinking back to the January 27th post titled, "No I'm not going, but thanking you for asking."  Well, what can I say, I change my mind, and outfits, a lot.  Yesterday was a crazy day, first we had our school sanctioned senior ditch day.  We went to Dave and Busters and then went to the zoo.  While we were at the zoo, the group of people I was with were trying to convince me to go to Mormon Prom that night.  At first I was like, ugh, please girl I ain't going to no stinking Prom.  Then the Rihanna song came on "Please Don't Stop The Music" and the urge to dance took control of my body!  So, at that moment I was fully converted on going to Mormon prom.  But there was no way in Heck I as going to school prom.  Tickets were only $15, I knew I could wear the dress from Melissa's wedding, and I knew it would be a lot more fun then I thought.
Celeste and Austin, they went to Prom together last night, and Prom together tonight, on the bus.
Celeste and Austin played this crazy rafting game; lo
ts of dinosaurs, Celeste was glad Austin was there to protect her.

It was fun yesterday, they chartered these really nice buses to take us around.  And because it was school sanctioned, I didn't feel like I was ditching.  I felt guilt free for once for not being in school!

Me and Austin on the way to Prom in the limo, aka Celeste's car.

Who doesn't love a few good awkward Prom pictures on the stairs and in front of the piano!  I love the picture of our shoes; I'm the one wearing fish nets!

After the dance we went to Celeste's house to change for After Prom.  Austin was a little sleepy.  He is very tall.

Hey Laura! I have been waiting and waiting for you to post! By the way, I can tell that I am becoming really unhip because I have to ask ... what is mormon prom?

Mormon Prom is a Tri-stake Prom that the area stakes put on. They had it at The Wildlife Experience, a really cool place where my school was last year. It's really cool because it's not just another lame stake dance at the church, it is exactly like school prom, they do a really good job at not making it lame. And it's cheap, only $15! They had charicatures and some other cool stuff to do.
