What Do You Do When You're Home "Sick"

Today I stayed home sick, and I was really bored...until the concrete truck showed up.  We are having some landscaping done and they brought in a concrete truck because they are making a concrete sidewalk on the side of our house.  My mom and I decided to get some pictures of the event, it's not often there's a concrete truck in front or your house!  The guy who drove the truck was really nice, and after he noticed us taking pictures just standing next to the truck, he told me, "Heck, why don't you jump up on into the cab!"  My reaction was, "uhhh....mmm...sure???"  Yes, just like that.  I don't turn down many offers, and this was definateley one I was not about to turn down.  The stairs into the cab were as tall as me, so it was very daunting.  I was worried because of the tight cramped space I would have to squeeze into without pushing any levers or buttons.  It kind of was a disaster waiting to happen.  When I was ascending into the cab, I kind of tripped on my foot and flew into the cab.  My hand of course had to hit the lever that moves around the belt the concrete moves through.  It was a concrete disaster!  It went EVERYWHERE!  My mom's van became a concrete sandwich and now we have a very very thick driveway.  So of course, there I was camera in hand snapping pictures of the damage I had done.
I really hope none of you fell for that.  If y
ou did, consider that a late April Fools Joke.

I fell for it...I am too gullible. You do seem to be sitting as far away from the steering wheel as possible.

You really are so silly! So now that you have your little map thingy you know that I secretly read your blog-often. I thought I may as well leave you a comment, you would know I was here anyway :) I have one of those things on my blog and it tracks everything, down to the time certain url addresses spend on my blog and which pages are viewed etc. It is really quite interesting! Although I am still trying to figure out if I should be flattered or freaked out that there are 235 cities in CA where people view my blog on a regular basis... Well there is my navel for you, hope to see ya soon!
