Restaurant review

Last night, we went to the Grand Luxe Cafe for mom's birthday dinner.  I ordered the Chicken Royale; caution, the title of the chicken does not match with the meal, it ain't no royal chicken.  And the mashed potatoes had a very strange yellow color, and were dense, thick and waxy.  Mom ordered the Sloppy Joe; she said it was so delicious, and could not be picked up.  This was no ordinary, open a can sloppy joe.  It was indeed a Grand Luxe sloppy joe.  Brent ordered the Indochen chicken and shrimp.  "It was good" is all Brent has to say; let me elaborate.  There was a hint of a curry taste to the exotic dish, so it was a nasal clearer.  But yes, it was very delicious.  Lisa ordered the Southwestern Salad; Lisa felt, "with its multi-flavored ingredients, I flew straight into Texas and back in one bite".
We then continued onto dessert; I ordered the Dulce de leche cheescake, and we shared the molten chocolate cake.  The presentation of these desserts definitely agreed with the mouthwatering tastes of these delicacies.  The cheescake is so light and creamy, yet so rich and full of flavor.  The molten chocolate cake is a baked to order dessert; you must order it with your meal so they have time to make it.  When we got it, it was directly from the oven, still so warm.  Absolutely delicious.  It is also served with a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream which is very firm and still hard when you get the dessert, the best way to eat ice cream.
When we got home, we watched "College Road Trip" (Mom's choice).  If you want a rave review, talk to Brent.  He thought it was way too funny.  I thought it was good, but there was one of those cry moments at the end that I could have done without.  But it wasn't that bad, it was pretty funny.  Once again, just ask Brent what he thought.
